April 30: Walking Ruby is becoming a much slower process because Siena really likes to help. So, we did some indoor practicing.
May 1: We drove down to Murphys, CA, to see Dan Rowe (an old friend from AIA) get married to the beautiful Sophia used-to-be Kelly. We sat in the third row on the aisle to guarantee excellent pictures... and then Siena started crying (loudly) as the bride started her journey to the altar. Siena and I made a quick exit to the back and Siena soon fell asleep. C'est la vie, eh? Still, Shiloh got some nice shots.
Wedding are great times to hang out (and eat really good food) with other guest-friends.
Since we don't dress up too often, Nat Smith helped us capture a family shot.
May 6: Another day with Grammy and the cousins. Siena loves her cousins. She especially loves to torment Luke and act motherly to Zeke. Currently, sharing is NOT their forte, so Grammy gave them each their own (appropriately-sized) shovel.
Tackle Grammy!
After tossing her shovel at Grammy, point blank, Siena made atonement with a kiss.
As Bethany terms it, the boys like to "roar" at one another. I sneaked up and almost caught them in the act; they were merely trying to determine who deserved the BIG shovel.
Her hair reminds me of Medusa. Only way cuter. :) Same with her doll's hair!
May 7: Fun Field Trip Fridays are organized by Auntie Bethany and are - you guessed it - FUN. We visited a local (and organic) strawberry picking farm.
The "farmer" explains that the best strawberries are the REDDEST ones. Some things just can't be taken for granted!
Halle looked precious, as usual, and gave me a sweet, coy look for the camera.
Siena, out of the goodness of her heart, is offering Erica her strawberry stem.
May 9: Siena seem to have a crush on a UCD football player, Bobby Erskine, who is also on the AIA leadership team.
We get to see Grandma and Grandpa Nicholson about twice a month, but we have to make sure all the Nicholsons know that they are loved when they're not around!
Siena doesn't know how to play Taboo yet, but she sure can work the buzzer!
How cute is Zeke in his little Mother's Day outfit?
May 12: I took some pictures at the last Woodland Christian H.S. softball game of the year. Siena jumped in a shot with Catie (catcher) and Brittany (pitcher), graduating seniors.
May 17: I let Siena play in the garage for awhile while I did dishes, but I couldn't find her when I went out to look for her. I heard some bumping in the corner and looked towards the washer and dryer. This is what I found!
May 23: I get to brag since he's my husband: Shiloh is 6 for 7 in IM championships so far this quarter (with all but one being A league or higher), with the last chance happening tonight! He's pretty amazing. Sunday was crazy with 6 games between the two of us.
I usually walk to get on base. :)
I think Shi likes it when people yell, "PICKLE!" because he does this a lot.
Siena was a good spectator. Sort of. Nat kept her busy by filling a Starbucks cup with Robin's Gatorade.
Nice pass!
Winners: Shiloh, Benny B, Rob, Sean (with Ollie), Benny D, and Joel Holly
Vroom, vrooooom!
