Siena turned 3 on the 14th of the month. As her daddy says, she is "so stinkin' cute" and I have to agree. She can be tender, caring, feisty, pushy, pleasant, entertaining, shy, talkative, tentative... So much personality wrapped up into one little body. We celebrated three years of life (in itself a blessing) with a Frog and Toad party because she loves the Frog and Toad books by Arnold Lobel, and her favorite color happens to be green!
The Armstrongs brought Siena an ice cream cone for her birthday breakfast. :)
Sofia wanted some.
Yolo Berry gives free ice cream with ID proof on your birthday - so we brought Siena's passport and got her her OWN. But she was nice and shared with the rest of us. :)
Thanks for celebrating with us (photo courtesy of Sam K who was there too).
The field trip Bethany planned that week was to Cool Patch Pumpkins. They weren't quite ready for us - I guess because of the weather everything from pumpkin maturation to corn bath assembly was a week behind, so our trip mainly consisted of us watching them set up the place.
And onto the party pics...

That night Shiloh went off to the UCD game as part of Matt Engle's bachelor party so I took the girls as well and we played with our own friends. :)
Gunrock even called to come say hello to Siena but she freaked out, as usual with mascots. We even happen to know the man inside this mascot and Siena is still afraid. Gunrock did some special ballet moves at Siena's request and that made her stop running away. They blew kisses at each other from afar, but thinking he finally had an "in," Gunrock opened his arms and took one step towards her for a hug. Bad idea. She bolted the other way screaming. Maybe next time...
September ended nicely with a trip to Cancun with the Forester family. They are uber generous to let us visit their time share with them a second time now, but even if they didn't woo us with tropical vacations and dental work, we'd be thrilled to count them as close friends. As the warm weather is waning and rain and clouds threaten to replace it, try not to drool on your keyboard as you peruse these next few shots.
Thanks for reading. I might even start on November a little bit early! Maybe...there's also that laundry that needs folding...
