March Part Deux

I got an email yesterday from an old friend kindly demanding Easter pictures on my blog. So today I'm sitting down in hopes of checking off that ever-present, ever-nagging box on my "to do" list; BLOG. But I can't just start with Easter. I have pictures from way back in MARCH to share! Get ready...

Our friend Chrissie turned 28 last month, and Bethany organized a low-key shindig to celebrate.

 Happy birthday to you...

I made some cream-cheese-iced, pumpkin cupcakes and Kelly made delicious, "healthy" cookies that can't possibly be as good for you as they sound (judging by how tasty they are!).

 The birthday girl

Shea did a great job holding Sofia, and Sofia liked it more than her face implies. :)

I couldn't pass up taking this picture. Oliver was totally self-entertaining in the kitchen, plumber-style.  Crack kills.

 Oh baby!

 Pandemonium.

Celebrators.

The next March highlight was St. Patrick's Day. We journeyed out to Folsom to visit Jen and Emma Jarvis, transported in Mary's fabulous Honda Odyssey. I want one. :)

No other activities in March merited taking a whole slew of pictures, so here are a few "random" shots from daily life.

Holding my lollipop kid after a 1/2 marathon training run with Sam Klasing.

Cinderella (blue dress) riding her Skuut = trouble.

Siena and Oliver playing at the Hollemans' house on a rainy day

Tink and Cinder playing while their daddies are at choir practice

Colt and Siena driving around on the Keefers' patio

 And sharing some cookies

Siena, Tannyr, and Oliver taking a ride in the wagon while Mary is supposed to be exercising with us. ;)

 Sisterly love

Napping Molly

And thus ends my March pictures. Tomorrow I will try to tackle April...

Goats and Fresno

A few weeks ago my friend Jenn decided to host FOURTEEN kids in her garage. At first I thought, "Whoa, won't they get cold?" And then she told me they were GOAT kids. Fourteen of them. All needing to be bottle-fed thrice daily. And she has a 6-month-old. And they JUST moved into a new house. Still, capitalizing on her generosity, we went to visit the transients.

That night we loaded into our Hyundai (rather than the 4Runner - better gas mileage) and drove down to Fresno to have our teeth cleaned and to visit our dentist - D4. We were going to grab breakfast with the Kahns, so we wanted to bring Ruby along. Hyundai. 2 Adults. 2 Car seats. Ruby...

We had a great time with the Foresters and got to see the newest Fresnoites - the Shabaglians - as well. We love these two families and all happen to have children within weeks or months of each other.

Tummy time!

Siena loves helping others... especially when she gets to help them eat:

Jadon's look here is classic... he is going to be a wonderful (tormenting) older brother! :)

Just taking out a tree... no big deal.

Maybe if City of Clovis employees see this picture, they will be encouraged to put bathrooms at the park...
