01: Silveyville
Silveyville is wonderful. As if free popcorn and cider weren't enough, you can also dash through the
Sienography
The joys of the tootsie pop can be preserved for a long time.
See?
03: Seniors, Scissors, and Silliness
06: Salvation Army
Bethany, at it again, organized a trip to the Post Office where we rang the bell obnoxiously, blocked doorways effectively, and smiled sweetly at all the passers-by. :)
Inviting Jessica was crucial. She plays carols on the harmonica!
08: FBE WCE (Women's Christmas Event)
Lots of food. Beautiful tables. Wonderful music. Good friends. Don't waste embellishment on the event title, spend it on the execution!
11: Justin's birthday, Taylor's Shoot
We are thankful for 1) our friend Justin turning 30 and 2) his wife Natalie inviting us to join them for breakfast at Putah Creek Cafe! (We are not thankful for Sofia dropping and breaking the glass (!?) crayon-holder under the table.) Later in the afternoon I took pictures of a fun, little almost-three-year-old at the Arboretum.
12: The Rogges
Took more pictures at the Arboretum with the Rogges (decked out in cute Christmas attire) and Hollemans (along to play). They are a fun crowd!
13: Started off with a Grammy day and progressed into a friend day at Orchard Park. What a life.
15: Worms
I LOVE that Bethany, Richie, and "the boys" live just down the street. Siena absolutely adores them all (except when Richie is tormenting her - which is often - but her squeals are so satisfying, who wouldn't?). When the rain comes, so do the worms. Let's go find some! (Ew.)
16: Caroling
We had a great time caroling around the neighborhood again this year. We stopped in at the West Lake Market and one of the employees said it made her year. Seriously? Awesome! As we walked towards the Fire House, the firefighters were all pulling away in their trucks. Bummer. We knocked on many houses, but as it was only about 4:30, many of them were empty. But we hit a few jackpots, like the elderly couple a few doors down from Grammy who were delighted, and then of course Grammy as well. The excursion ended at Chrissie's place with cookies and cider.
23: We spent the few days before Christmas in Atherton with the Nicholsons. Our time included park visits, walks around the lake, lots of yummy food, and opening of fun and wonderful gifts.
At Grandma and Grandpa's house, Siena invariably wakes up early and immediately asks to watch TV...
Sisters!
Our munchkin has NO fear...
New friends?
more sisters...
Mary dropped off a gingerbread house kit before the holidays and we had a fun time decorating it. Siena enjoyed sneaking a gum drop here and there.
24: Christmas Eve: the Nicholson Christmas the loot

Off to the park to play some more...

See?
Sofia doesn't know how to do a stocking quite yet.

Christmas bliss
Helicopter on the roof. That doesn't happen everyday!
mayday mayday mayday!

28: Stolen, Jarvis
Catalytic converter #2 stolen from our driveway. Grr. Parking in garage now.
We love (and miss!) our Jarvi!
30: Cole Rehearsal
Antarctic lava. Cooool!
We're so happy for these two and happy to add Kevin to the family!
Bethany's manicure/pedicure colored to her boys' whims.
31: Cole Wedding
