When holding a football, Justin Smith teaches his players to use four points of contact: Hand, forearm, bicep, and side. This technique also happens to be a great way to hold a baby. Here is our friend Jeremy McChesney demonstrating his preferred method for baby-holding, which sounds a lot like Justin's preferred method for football-holding. While we're on the topic of football... Siena went to her second football game. That's not too shabby for only being born for three weeks. The weather wasn't great (it drizzled a bit), but Siena was well-protected underneath our jackets. Sam was even able to nurse her during the game, so Siena was a very happy camper. It was Homecoming Week at Davis High, and we played Pioneer High. While Davis is my alma mater, Pioneer is coached by good friends (David Butterworth and Ben Reece) so our loyalties were slightly divided. We also had to sit on the Pioneer side of the field, because there wasn't room on the Davis side. It was fun. We sat with Justin and Natalie Smith, Katie Reece, Jon Stauffer, Carie Brueckner, and Jeremy McChesney, and we were happy to see Uncle Dennis Pleau and his two boys sitting right behind us!
